WindX UCP-GNE silent yaw pads and brake pads
Yaw brake noise and vibration are among the most common recurring faults we see on ageing fleets, and the usual fix is a temporary one. We supply and fit WindX UCP-GNE composite yaw pads and brake pads that hold a stable friction coefficient over their service life, protect the friction disc and remove the vibration at its source.

A stable friction coefficient, 0.10 to 0.14 for RD-JZ yaw pads. No added grease.
Cold and oil resistant
Performance unchanged below −40 °C and not affected by gear or lubricating oil. Water absorption 0.001 %.
Wear resistant
Wear rate of 1 µm/km for RD-JZ yaw pads, in a nano-composite polymer material.
Matched per turbine
Upper and lower pads are specified per turbine platform.
